My love for hair started when I was in middle school. When I would go to the salon with my mom, I always loved watching the transformations and being in the salon atmosphere. I remember saying, "That doesn’t even seem like work; it seems so fun, and I want to do it one day!" I graduated high school and immediately enrolled in Leon’s Beauty School. Upon graduating from Leon's in 2009, I began working as an assistant at Bailey’s on Elm Street in downtown Greensboro, where I learned and trained under some of the best stylists. After 4 1/2 years I knew it was time to move on to the next best thing in the hair industry, which was to rent a booth, so I moved to Cheveux Salon on Battleground. Here, I truly grew to love and develop a passion for the craft. I am honored to have worked with such an amazing group of women for eight years. In my eighth year at Cheveux, God began to work in my heart about opening my own space, and I prayerfully made the decision to open Top Knot Salon on Cornwallis Drive in Greensboro.
Keeping current with fashion and industry trends is essential to providing the best service to my clients. Some of my training has included the following: Tigi Academy in NYC; Goldwell color training academy in Baltimore; keratin complex color and smoothing treatments; beaded row extensions certification; updo and special styling training from KMS and Paul Mitchell; and hair shows in Charlotte, NYC, and Orlando. I have worked with a variety of color lines, but Paul Mitchell has made it easy to love color. Their beeswax-based hair color line is super gentle and leaves your hair enriched with moisture. I also love lightening and toning with Matrix color. Other services I specialize in are beaded row hair extensions, I am certified in Harlow extension method, blonding, rich brunettes, textured haircuts and Brazilian blowout smoothing treatments. I love helping my clients achieve their hair goals while maintaining healthy hair.

Emily Miller
Stylist
Emily started styling hair in 2010 after graduating Leon's beauty school, located here in Greensboro. She started working as an assistant for a year before becoming a full-time stylist.
Emily's specialty is color, she especially loves creating the perfect blondes and reds. She is also skilled in a variety of cuts, certified in Brazilian blowouts and beaded row extensions. She has an attention to detail which is why she loves the craft so much.
When she isn't behind the chair, you can find her in the kitchen trying new recipes, exploring new restaurants and spending time with her family at their home here in Greensboro.
Emily loves making new connections with her clients and giving them fresh new hair with a warm experience. She is always taking new clients.

Dawn Snead
Stylist
Dawn’s love for hair started at a young age with baby dolls and brave friends. She got her first salon job while she was still in high school- sweeping hair, folding towels and answering the phone. She loved being in the salon and knew she would make a career of it.
She attended Sylvain Melloul International Hair Academy located in Lynchburg, VA while getting her bachelor’s degree at Liberty University Online. Once graduating cosmetology school, she worked at Future Images in Forest, VA. This is where she learned under the best stylists in town, assisting them and later taking her own clients. In 2014, she decided to move back home to Greensboro, NC and worked at Indigo which relocated downtown as Blueprint the Salon. She has attended numerous classes with Paul Mitchell, Redken, L’Oréal, Matrix and Unite.
Dawn enjoys creating new looks with dimensional color using foils or balayage. She is precise with men’s cutting and detailed in curly hair. She creates beautiful wedding/formal styles and updos. Her favorite color lines are Paul Mitchell and Redken. She takes time to listen to her client’s wishes and finding solutions to their needs.
When Dawn isn’t behind the chair, she is spending time with her daughter, Madelyn. They enjoy making memories in the kitchen, playing outside and going camping! She is always up for an adventure!

Cassie Norman

Cassie began her hair career at Leon’s Beauty School in 2006.While in school she gained product knowledge and client relationships, selling retail and providing solutions for people’s hair needs. Cassie trained all over the country from Manhattan to Dallas. With education and product knowledge from Goldwell, Tigi, Paul Mitchell, Unite ,Kune, Kevin Murphy and beyond.
Her specialty services are Balayage, blending and customized short haircuts for men and women. She also enjoys formal styling for special events and Keratin smoothing treatments. Cassie’s main passion is for your to fall in love with your hair!
When she is not behind the chair you can find her cuddled up with a good book or creating new dishes in the kitchen. She also has a deep love with animals and arts.

My name is Bridgette Beal. I come from a loving and very supportive family that loves to see me succeed. I am engaged to a very wonderful man. We have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. I am a cosmetologist with many talents. I have been in this profession for seven years. Through my career, I have had the ability to advance to a level four hairstylist. I have had the ability to learn new and advanced skills in my profession. My greatest accomplishment is to have a client sit in my chair with a vision, and for me to be able to provide the finest customer service in everything I do, and the quality of my work exceeding my clients expectations. By doing hair I am able to help my clients to feel their best and enhance their natural beauty by making their hair goals become reality while maintaining healthy hair.
